In jewellery making, the jump ring is the invisible component that makes everything work — it connects the pendant to the chain, the charm to the bracelet, the clasp to the necklace. A poorly chosen ring — too thin, too large, or made from the wrong metal — can compromise an otherwise perfect piece of jewellery. Solideea's Stainless Steel Jump Rings Mix Box eliminates this variable from the equation — multiple sizes and gauges in a single organised box, made from steel that does not oxidise, does not blacken the skin, and lasts as long as the jewellery itself.
Why do Solideea jewellers choose this mix box?

To close a jump ring perfectly — with no visible gap and no deformation — always use two pliers simultaneously, one on each half of the ring, and move the two halves in opposite directions on the vertical axis, not laterally. A lateral movement deforms the circle; a vertical movement maintains the round shape of the ring and produces an invisible closure. A correctly closed jump ring is just as strong as a soldered one — the difference is made in two steps and two seconds.
