There is an immediate visual difference between an ordinary DIY project and one that catches the light. Mica powder pigments are responsible for that difference. The fine mineral particles with pearlescent and metallic effects transform transparent resin into an ocean of deep colour, candle wax into a shimmering surface, and clay into jewellery that looks expensive. Solideea's Mica Powder Pigment Set puts this visual magic at your disposal in a range of coordinated colours, ready to use in any creative project in your studio.

For a metallic gradient effect in resin, add different mica powder colours to separate portions of resin poured into the mould — gold at the edges and silver in the centre, or rose gold in the lower layer and copper in the upper layer. Use a toothpick or thin stick to create slow, partial blending movements between colours before the resin begins to gel. The result is a galaxy or aurora borealis effect impossible to replicate intentionally and non-repeatable — every piece unique by definition.
