Fresh flowers wilt. Three-dimensionally dried flowers lose their colour over time. Pressed flowers are something else entirely — flat, with preserved colours and a delicate fragility that makes them perfect for being permanently incorporated into resin, glass, or paper. Solideea's Dried Pressed Flowers Mix is the collection of botanical elements that transforms any DIY piece from a functional object into an object with a story — every flower real, every petal unique, every piece carrying within it a fragment of nature preserved forever.

To incorporate pressed flowers into UV resin without them moving or floating to the surface, first apply a thin layer of resin into the mould or onto the work surface and allow it to partially gel under the UV lamp for 30-60 seconds — the semi-set layer anchors the flowers in the desired position before pouring the final layer of resin on top. This two-layer technique allows you to position each flower exactly where you want it and create intentional, not accidental, botanical compositions.
